We are Redwood City Neighbors United

We are a movement of families across age, class, faith, language, and neighborhood calling on local leaders to enact common sense solutions that provide security and a sense of belonging, with a responsive local government that works for us all. Too many of our hard-working neighbors face unsafe living conditions, harassment, and unjust eviction, all without proper enforcement of the rights that should maintain our dignity and safety. We are working to pass solutions that ensure all of our families have the ability to call Redwood City home, raise our kids here and pursue our dreams.

Who are We?

Redwood City Neighbors United is a local movement anchored by the leadership of Faith in Action Bay Area.

This is a movement by Redwood City residents for Redwood City residents.

76% of Redwood City residents think the City government is not doing a good enough job addressing homelessness. We have a vision of urgent, common sense interventions that will prevent evictions and homelessness at the source – by limiting tenant harassment, neglect of building conditions, unjust evictions and eviction threats. With these policies and the creation of an office for residents to address their housing needs before they end up on the street, we can keep families housed and in the community for the long term.
